Do Slimming Belts Work??

Many of us women would think and wonder whether those slimming belts advertised on tv do really work or not. Well, I thought I should blog this down since last night when I went to my aerobics class, most of the women there were talking about the offer that was sold at the Ujana Kawagan here in Labuan. The offer price was RM 400+. And I think that is a good deal. I did get mine at a much higher price. Actually, my husband bought it for me last year, surprisingly, when he went for a meeting in KK. I guess, he noticed and felt the flabs on my sides and tummy, which of course most husbands and men would be turned off. He insisted that I use it everyday just for 10 mins (this is already set in the belt), on my own free time.

When I used it for the first time with the 'heat' sensor, I felt itchy all over my waist. Then, gradually it becomes normal after a few days. At first each and every member of the family tried it for a day, then the next ,and the next. After that, everyone gave up on it. But, I kept using it until now, more frequently, twice per day because it worked for me! By the way, this slimming belt doesn't make you 'slim', but it tones the flabs on your tummy, waist, thighs and arms. Of course, you have to accompany the use of the belt with excercise and good eating habits. If you want good results, use it twice everyday, after you wake up early in the morning, and before going to bed, followed with 100-150 of situps!! It takes a lot of determination and will power if you want the results to happen.

This isn't just any other belts, but I suggest that the Osim brand is my best choice because it works for me. So women of Labuan or any parts of Sabah or the West, don't be embarrassed or afraid to use it. But if you think there'll be the effects of being electrocuted or any other you may feel may cause some problems, I suggest not to even think about it. Use it wisely and at your own discretion. Having used it for more than a year now, it hasn't given me any problems. The belt is only part of the solution to get rid of the flabs and fats. Start first from within with a healthy mind and heart.....the rest will follow if you will yourself....

The month of June seems to be a very special month throughout the years, at least maybe in the Asian countries, like Malaysia. I guess, that's probably because it falls during the school holidays. Wedding bells chimes while couples tie the knot in a holy matrimony. It's a lifetime to remember and cherish those years you have been together. It's funny, whenever I go to any friend's wedding, I always remember my own. And how I wished I went through walking on the aisle with that beautiful wedding gown of my dreams!! Still, I got married, the proper way..
Sometimes, after being married for so many years, you just hope your partner looks at you in the same way. For as long as the heart is pure and loving, the way you see, the way you think and the way you feel matters dearly to the loved one....

A Mother's Day Message

Since I am starting my first blog, I dedicate this one to the single moms, working mothers, and all the women out there, who, in everyday of their lives, have been "struggling" to being just appreciated and be thanked for, for all the hard work they have been doing all these years for their children, their husbands and for those who took them for granted. Sad to say, that to this day, the man created by God, never really realized that without us,women, men will not be men, and the world will not be the place where we are living now...

Maybe, during the times of our parents, and our parents' parents, there were men out there who took the time to pamper their women with luxuries, and all that money can buy. But, can one say they were happy?? A few, you might say, do take the meaning of 'woman' seriously, and expand its vocabulary to a great extent. It is to those men that I salute to. They take the time to understand the emotions and mental aspects of their minds, and try as much to relate themselves physically with the burden women also have had to carry in dealing with the everyday life cycles, especially when it comes to family and work.

If I may say, I do recall the time when I was just a small child, growing up with the rest of my brothers and sisters, there was never one time that father took mother for granted. To him, mother is always an ispiration in his life and in his work, whether that be at home, abroad or whenever he writes or discusses issues. He always makes it a point to take mother out and spend a good evening for all her hardwork . Even to this day, though they maybe miles away, and, now, remain a couple again, since we have all grown up and have our own families, they still share that sparkle, that appreciation and that love for each other.

So to the mothers, and women out there, be proud of who you are, and know that it is you who can know you 're someone special if you believe in yourself. And if you know who you are, and spread the beauty within you, through the love, the patience, the kindness and understanding you give to others, especially to your husband and children, then you will succeed in all your endeavours. And if you're still single and looking for that special someone, take your time to find yourself. Love with purity and honesty, and trust with your mind and heart.

To mom, mamang, as we call her, I love you with all my heart. Though I may be thousands of miles away, I never forgot how much you have always struggled to raise us seven kids in times of hardships. Most of all, you would always impose on us the values and meaning of patience and sacrifice, understanding and trust, honesty and love. With faith in God, and prayer in mind, life as a mother, wether working or home, balances. I thank you for being the greatest and most patient mom in the world. You don't ask for the universe, but you took the time and effort to build the persons in all your children, and shaped our world in our own special ways. I miss you so much, especially on this day to celebrate such special occassion . HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, and may you have many more to come..
